Calculate your commission
How the numbers are calculated
Nothing hidden. These are the formulas running above:
Commission per month= monthly sales × commission rateCommission per year= commission per month × 12Saving per year= monthly sales × share moving × (commission rate − gateway fee) × 12Payback= 249 KWD ÷ saving per month
If you leave the gateway fee blank, the calculator treats it as zero, as with WhatsApp orders or cash on delivery.
What changed with delivery-app commissions in Kuwait
Ministerial Decision 109/2026 capped delivery-app commissions at 17% of the order when the platform delivers and 10% when the restaurant delivers with its own drivers, and capped the delivery fee charged to the customer at 1 KWD. It took effect in July 2026, with penalties from 1 September 2026. Before the cap, some platforms charged up to 35%.
On 27 September 2026 a court struck only the penalty article; the caps themselves stand, but enforcement is weaker. That is why the calculator lets you type the rate you actually pay if it is not 17% or 10%.

An ordering site under your restaurant's name, 249 KWD one-off
Arabic and English menu, cart, delivery zones and fees, orders delivered to your WhatsApp, and an optional admin panel so you can edit items yourself. KNET runs through the licensed gateway account in your restaurant's name. No commission from us — gateway fees only. Fixed price before we start, no long contracts, and you talk to the developer directly. The site is an extra channel for your direct customers; it changes nothing about the decision or how you work with the apps.
Common questions
How accurate is this calculator?
The figures are estimates, not legal advice. The tool multiplies your sales by the commission rate you pick and calculates the saving on the share you set with the slider. Change the numbers and watch the result move.
Why are the options 17% and 10%?
Because Kuwait's Ministerial Decision 109/2026 capped delivery-app commissions at 17% of the order when the platform delivers and 10% when the restaurant delivers with its own drivers. If your contract uses a different rate, choose "Other rate" and type it in.
Does the ordering site charge a commission on orders?
No commission from us — gateway fees only. You pay 249 KWD once to build the site. KNET payments run through the restaurant's own licensed gateway account, and that gateway sets its own fees depending on the provider, so enter them in the gateway-fee field to include them in the estimate.
Do I have to leave the delivery apps?
No. The site is an extra channel for the regular customers who order from you directly through your link on Instagram, Google and your receipts; the apps stay as they are. The site changes nothing about the decision or your relationship with the apps.
