How much does a website or online store cost in Kuwait?

Most companies in Kuwait do not publish their prices, so you end up talking to five of them just to discover that the gap between them can be several times over. This page lays out our prices as they are, and explains why the price varies, so even if you end up working with someone else, at least you know what you are comparing against.

Planning an app? Our guide to mobile app costs in Kuwait covers app prices, what raises them and the yearly costs.

The yearly costs people forget

The prices above are for building the project. After launch, the site needs somewhere to live:

ItemCost (KWD)Note
Hosting60 / yearSSL certificate included
SSL certificateIncludedRequired for any site that takes payments, and it comes with the hosting
Domain name10 / year · 20 / year.com for 10 and .com.kw for 20, renewed yearly
Monthly maintenance30 / 60 / 120Completely optional

If your project is a store, there is a fifth item: payment provider fees. These are not paid to us but to the bank or licensed payment service provider you sign up with, and they vary from one provider to another and from one business type to another. Do not rely on a figure quoted by anyone outside the provider itself; ask them directly.

The ad video: what you get for 20 to 35 KWD

A vertical 9:16 video at 1080×1920, up to 20 seconds, built on your brand: your logo, your colours and the product photos you send us. It is delivered in two versions, Arabic and English, with one round of revisions, ready to post on Reels, TikTok, Snapchat and Meta ads. If you want more than one video, a pack of 4 videos is 99 KWD.

The video is designed to be understood without sound, with the text built into it. That is deliberate: most mobile viewers watch on mute, and a video that relies on audio is lost on them. It is also why we do not add music: we do not use unlicensed music tracks.

Not included: real filming or drone footage, and publishing or scheduling management. Those are completely different jobs with separate pricing, and we tell you up front rather than letting you find out later.

If you want to use the video in an ad campaign, we can run the campaign too. See Google Ads management: setup from 50 KWD and management from 25 KWD a month, or 45 KWD a month for two or more campaigns.

A warning sign when comparing quotes

If a quote does not mention hosting, the SSL certificate or who owns the code, the price written down is not the real price. Ask these three questions before you sign with anyone, including us.

What actually raises the price

It is not "quality" or "a nice design". These are the items that move the number:

  • Ready-made template or built from scratch. The single biggest difference. A template is cheaper and faster, but its limits become your limits. Building from scratch costs more and gives you clean code that you own and can extend.
  • Number of pages and content. A 5-page site is not a 40-page site.
  • Two languages. Arabic and English means double the content, and a mirrored page direction that needs separate testing; it is not just a translation.
  • Admin panel. A site that needs a developer to edit it is cheaper than one you manage yourself.
  • Integrations. A payment gateway, a shipping company, an accounting system, WhatsApp: every integration is extra work and error cases that have to be handled.
  • Who writes the content and prepares the images. If you have them ready, you save time and money.

What does not justify a higher price

Honestly, even if it goes against our own interest:

  • "Exclusive design" on a five-page site with simple content.
  • Lots of effects and animations that slow the site down on mobile, where most of your visitors come from.
  • Features you will not use. A loyalty points system for a store that has not sold its first order yet.
  • A mobile app before the website. In most cases, a fast website that works on mobile is enough to start, and costs far less.

How to compare two quotes fairly

Ask each company to answer these questions in writing. The difference in the answers explains most of the difference in price:

  1. Is the site a ready-made template or built from scratch?
  2. Who owns the code after delivery, and do I receive it?
  3. What exactly does the price include, and what is charged extra?
  4. How many rounds of revisions are included?
  5. Are hosting and the SSL certificate inside the price or outside it?
  6. What happens if I need a change after six months, and how much does it cost?
  7. Can I see something working before I pay?

The last question is the most important. Showing pictures and designs is easy; a system that actually works is something else. We have three live demos you can try right now with no sign-up and no commitment: a store where you add to the cart and complete the checkout, a restaurant with a commission calculator, and a clinic where you book an appointment and see how the system prevents double-bookings.

Ask about payment terms before you commit

This is an item that is often forgotten and then causes a dispute halfway through the project. Ask any company, including us, these questions and get the answers written into the quote: Is payment in one go or in instalments? When is each instalment due, and what has to be finished before it? What happens if the project stops or is delayed by either side? A written agreement protects both sides, not just one.

A free mockup of your homepage within 48 working hours

Want to see what your project would look like before you pay? After a short WhatsApp chat where we understand your business and what you need, we design a mockup of your homepage, free, within 48 working hours, with one round of revisions. If you do not like it, you have lost nothing. You can also open our live demos right now with no commitment.
